个人履历:
1988年本科毕业于清华大学工程力学系,1991年获得北京大学力学系硕士学位,1994年获得北京大学力学系博士学位;1994-1995年于美国新泽西州Rutgers大学航天和机械工程系作博士后研究,1995-1998年于美国威斯康新大学麦迪逊分校大气和海洋科学系作博士后研究,1998-2005年担任美国威斯康新大学麦迪逊分校气候研究中心研究员,2005年至今担任中国海洋大学物理海洋“筑峰工程”教授;兼任国际CLIVAR太平洋科学指导委员会委员,国际PICES太平洋气候变化与变率科学委员会委员,国际CLIVAR NPOCE计划科学指导委员会委员,中国海洋湖沼学会水文气象学会理事长,中国海洋与湖沼学报(英文版)的编委,Geophysical Research Letter, Journal of Physical Oceanography,Geophysical Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics, Journal of Climate, Journal ofGeophysical Research, Climate Dynamics, Journal of Marine System, MonthlyWeather Review, Earth Interactions, Advance in Atmospheric Science,美国NSFand NOAA研究基金等的评审人。
 
主要学术成就:
主要研究包括海洋环流的基本理论、海-气相互作用和气候年代际变化、海洋环流与气候系统数值模拟, 在Nature Geoscience, Journal of Climate, Journal of Physical Oceanography等国际海洋与气候研究的权威杂志上发表论文40余篇,被Science、Nature等SCI杂志引用800余次。作为首席科学家主持承担了国家973项目“北太平洋副热带环流变异及其对我国近海动力环境的影响”、国家杰出青年基金等项目。2009年作为学术带头人获国家自然科学基金委员会“海洋动力过程与气候”创新群体基金。
