马军教授获英国皇家化学会“可持续发展水奖”
英国皇家化学会2016年系列奖项于5月8日正式公布,共有80余位来自世界各地的优秀科学家获得了这些奖励和奖项,目前公布的有68位。来自哈尔滨工业大学的马军教授获得 RSC 2016年度Sustainable Water Award奖,成为首位获得该奖项的大陆学者。
马军,汉族,1962年出生;哈尔滨工业大学市政环境工程学院副院长、教授/博士生导师,城市水资源开发利 用(北方)国家工程研究中心常务副主任。教育部“长江学者奖励计划特聘教授”,兼任国际水协纳米和水、金属和相关物质、颗粒分离等委员会理事, 国际臭氧协会IOA-EA3G理事,Environmental Science and Technology Letter 和Environmental Science: Water Research & Technology顾问编委。
英国皇家化学会
英国皇家化学会,或又名英国皇家化学学会 (Royal Society of Chemistry,以下简称 RSC) 由致力于化学科学的人员组成,是一个充满活力的全球性团体。作为一家非营利组织,将所有盈余都重新投入到慈善活动中,比如化学国际交流、主办化学期刊、会议、科学研究、教育以及向公众传播化学科学知识。
Sustainable Water Award奖项设立于2008年,每两年颁发一次。历届获奖者包括Simon Parsons(Scottish Water,2014年,水中有机污染物的处理), David Stuckey(Imperial College London,2012年,微生物污水处理),William Davison (Laner University,2010年,水环境化学)等世界知名教授。
该奖项用以表彰那些在化学科学领域对水资源可持续发展做出杰出贡献的个人或团队。马军教授团队从事水的氧化处理技术、纳米功能材料以及膜分离技术等方面的研究,对水处理过程中的新技术发展与应用做出了重大贡献,取得了水处理理论与技术方面的重大突破。
英国皇家化学会首席执行官Robert Parker说:“十分荣幸能在我们175周年庆典之际向诸位拥有杰出成就的获奖者授予我们的奖项和奖励。”

英国皇家化学会为了庆贺这些获奖者,已将本年度获奖者在RSC上发表的文章集结在一起,限时免费对公众开放。马军教授获奖感言马军教授表示很高兴获得此荣誉,他说"非常荣幸我们课题组的研究工作能够得到评审委员会的认可和鼓励!这个荣誉不是奖励给我一个人的,是对我们整个研究团队多年努力工作的认可,获得这一奖项也将激励我们团队继续发展具有可持续发展潜力的低碳经济和高效的水质净化技术,以更好地解决目前所面临的水资源问题。"马军教授简介
