2017年9月29日,2017年度世界粮食奖在美国驻华大使馆公布,中国农业大学资源与环境学院教授崔振岭斩获2017年的诺曼·博洛格实地研究与应用奖,成为我国第三位获得该奖项的科学家。
此次“世界粮食奖”颁给崔振岭,是因为他在研究及农业推广项目中,通过创造性的田间化肥管理实现了土壤改良、粮食增产。他在与农民的密切合作中形成的创新方式提高了氮肥利用效率,使华北平原的小麦和玉米产量得以提高,同时遏制了土壤退化及水质污染。这一创举影响了千万计的农民 [4]
2023年被授予“北京高校优秀共产党员” [5]
