主持国家自然科学基金(NSFC)、国家高新技术研究发展计划子题(863项目)、国家水体污染控制与治理科技重大专项(水专项)子题、国家教育部留学回国人员科研项目启动基金和企业委托项目,参加新加坡基金会资助的国际合作CREATE项目、水专项、国家环境保护总局和企业委托等科研项目。国内外发表研究论文40余篇,其中SCI收录的有20余篇,出版著作1本,申请专利7项(目前已获授权6项),参加各类学术会议30余次。重庆大学学报(英文版)编委。EST, Water Research, Journal of Membrane Science, Separation and Purification Technology等多种SCI期刊的审阅人。世界水协会(IWA)、上海环境科学协会和上海化学和化学工程协会会员。
