主要从事基于功能型生物纳米材料的固体废物处理和有毒有害污染物控制的新原理、新方法和新技术研究,在环境污染物实时监控及吸附、降解研究等领域取得了许多国内外先进水平的创新性成果。

已主持国家自然科学基金项目2项(优秀青年基金项目1项,青年科学基金项目1项),教育部新世纪优秀人才计划1项,湖南省研究生科研创新基金项目1项等课题,作为主要参与人参与了国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、教育部创新团队项目1项和多项国家自然科学基金、“863”计划等科研项目研究。
研究成果:
获2009年度国家技术发明二等奖、2008年度湖南省科技进步一等奖(发明奖类)、2007年度湖南省科技进步一等奖;全国百篇优秀博士学位论文提名论文、湖南省优秀博士学位论文。先后在环境学科国际权威刊物Environmental Science & Technology (SCI IF=5.228)、Biosensors and Bioelectronics (SCI IF=5.602)、Langmuir (SCI IF=4.268)、Bioresource Technology (SCI IF=4.98)、Analytica Chimica Acta (SCI IF=4.555)、Analyst(SCI IF=4.23)等国际国内公开出版刊物发表科研论文70余篇,其中SCI收录47篇,被引用次数410次,EI收录45篇,ISTP收录4篇;申请国家发明专利28项,已获授权国家发明专利15项;参与编写著作2部;6次受邀参加国际会议,并作大会报告2次;获国际环境计量学学会颁发的TIES 2005大会最佳报告。现为国际环境毒理学与环境化学学会会员、国际环境计量学学会会员、SCI刊物“Biosensors and Bioelectronics”、国内刊物“环境科学”等期刊的审稿人。
