Exploring the effect of low-temperature thermal-alkaline pretreatment on struvite recovery from metals-phosphorus rich sludge
It was revealed that the optimal LTTAP conditions were 55℃, pH 11, 20 g/L WAS and pretreatment time of 12 h in this study. Meanwhile, struvite crystallization at pH 9.5 and the Mg/P molar ratio of 2:1 achieved the PO43– removal efficiency of 95 % in WAS supernatant.
